My name is Dave, I was born in Indonesia in Nov 8, 2001.
I am an aspiring illustrator and concept artist that is currently pursuing to learn digital animation in Taylor's University. I graduated from The One Academy almost one year ago now and still applying for jobs on the side. If you would like to check out my work, I also have my own digital portfolio. I have proficiency in several programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Blender, and even Spine 2D. I mainly do concept art, environment art, as well as storyboarding. When I am not busy doing assignments, commissions, or personal projects, i like to play video games as well as playing the guitar.
Univeristy life isn't scary or shocking for me, other than it being slightly monotonous. I have done college/university life before as I have mentioned in my introduction page, there are a few differences here though. For instance, how this university is much bigger and have more facilities than my previous college. The teaching method of this school is also pretty different and the size of the school itself make it pretty hard to have a community like feeling. I also am slightly confused as to why the AC units are placed inside the hallways, making it unbearable to stand outside the classrooms when waiting for the class to open.
I've met a couple of good people in my first 3 weeks in this university. Though, I mainly focus and choose to do this degree as a way to get my qualifications and have better opportunities in getting employment in the future. In terms of assignments, I am doing fairly good and I've been adapting quite well in documenting everything I do using their blog system. There are a lot of very good seniors that can be a examplary reference for "juniors" like me. Truthfully, I am a bit sad and annoyed that my failure in finding a job has led me to redoing university life and pursuing another college degree. Even with that, I am still going to try my best and work the hardest during these few more years of university.
